On behalf of the 11 partners involved in the hands4health project, FHNW is inviting you to the kick-off workshop that will be held on April 22 at 10:00-12:30 (UTC+1).
The 4 years research project “hands4health” is funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). It aims to develop a comprehensive approach to hand hygiene, water quality and sanitation in primary health care facilities and schools not connected to a functional water supply system. It includes partners from academia, the private sector and international NGOs and will be implemented in Switzerland (lab research) and Burkina Faso, Mali, Nigeria and Palestine (field development). Find further project details in the Hands4health_Flyer.
The kick-off event aims to include your feedback and suggestions based on your previous experiences to our project approach and activities. Your thoughts will support the decision-makers of the project and help to achieve an output of the project that can support the work conducted in this sector.
After a brief introduction and a presentation about the project, you can join specific group discussions according to your expertise on the following topics:
- WASH challenges in health care facilities
- WASH challenges in schools
- Stakeholder engagement and knowledge sharing
