This year's General Assembly was hosted by Switzerland Global Enterprise (S-GE), one of the newest SWP member. Besides the statuary part, the GA provided a nice opportunity for SWP members to connect and exchange about innovative and relevant approaches in water for development.

David Avery, Head of Sustainability and Cleantech at S-GE, gave an overview of S-GE’s fields of work and presented tools and business opportunities for Swiss companies in the international water infrastructure sector.

The motto of this year’s General Assembly was “Water ideas worth sharing” with various SWP member organizations sharing pitches on innovative approaches in the water sectors, followed by discussions in working groups and an interactive workshop. After a networking lunch, the afternoon was reserved for the statutory part, taking stock of 2022 and providing an outlook on the current year and beyond.

The General Assembly was attended by over 30 participants, representing 16 of the member organizations. Many thanks to David Avery and Switzerland Global Enterprise for hosting the event, as well as to Johannes Heeb (Co-Chair of the SWP), SWP Youth, SWP Secretariat and all the participants!
