Special Event: Sharing Experiences of the SDG-6
Implementation at Local and Regional Scale

The Global Institute for Water Environment and Health (GIWEH) with the Permanent
Mission of the Republic of Kenya to the United Nations Office- Geneva, the Ministry of
Water and Sanitation – Kenya, and Kenyia water and sanitation Network (KEWASNET)
have the honour to invite you for the launch of the the project titled “Support 2030
Sustainable development Goals- Goal 6 , water – related SDG’s and rights in
Kenya”.

The session will take place on Monday 11 June 2018 from 15h00 to 17h00 in Room
XXV of the United Nations Office in Geneva (UNOG) in the presence of H.E. H.E. Mr.
Simon Chelugui- The Minister of Water and Sanitation – Kenya.

The central goal of this project is to ensure the absorption and alignment of the
indicators, monitoring mechanisms and institutions required to track progress on
Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6: Clean water and sanitation.
