Safe Drinking Water for the Population in the Great Lakes (PEPP)

The project’s main objective is to link communities to water supply systems, thus complementing previous projects to improve water supply and sanitation in health facilities and schools. SKAT has the lead on the project, with the Swiss TPH linking the activities to existing health projects by enhancing the promotion of safe drinking water and improved sanitation and hygiene practices. The impact of access to safe water and hygiene promotion on health outcomes is assessed through operational research.
